Roasted Salmon Glazed With Brown Sugar and Mustard

Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, skin on or off
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
- 1 tablespoon Honey
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels.
- Brush the salmon fillet with olive oil.
- Spread the brown sugar and mustard glaze evenly over the top of the salmon.
- Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
- Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the glaze is bubbly.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, score the skin lightly with a sharp knife before glazing.
- To prevent the salmon from sticking to the baking sheet, you can line the baking sheet with foil as well.
- Serve with roasted vegetables or a simple salad.
- Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
