Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, skin on or off
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2 tablespoons Dijon Mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon Paprika
  • Salt and Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. In a small bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, Dijon mustard, honey, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Pat the salmon fillet dry with paper towels.
  5. Brush the salmon fillet with olive oil.
  6. Spread the brown sugar and mustard glaze evenly over the top of the salmon.
  7. Place the salmon on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Roast for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the glaze is bubbly.
  9. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For extra crispy skin, score the skin lightly with a sharp knife before glazing.
  • To prevent the salmon from sticking to the baking sheet, you can line the baking sheet with foil as well.
  • Serve with roasted vegetables or a simple salad.
  • Store leftover salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently in the oven or microwave.
