Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Pork Tenderloin, trimmed of silver skin
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 sprigs Fresh Rosemary, chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Chicken Broth
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, chopped rosemary, salt, and pepper.
- Rub the mixture all over the pork tenderloin.
- Heat olive oil in an oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the tenderloin for 2-3 minutes per side, until browned.
- Pour chicken broth into the skillet.
- Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven.
- Roast for 20-25 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) using a meat thermometer.
- Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- Using a meat thermometer is crucial for ensuring the pork is cooked through and safe to eat.
- Resting the pork allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful final product.
- For crispier skin, increase the oven temperature to 425°F (220°C) for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3-4 days.
