Ingredients
- 1 cup Water
- 1 cup Long Grain White Rice
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
Instructions
- Add water and rice to the Instant Pot.
- Add salt.
- Close the lid and ensure the valve is set to 'Sealing'.
- Select the 'Rice' setting (if available). If not, select 'Manual' and set to 3 minutes at high pressure.
- Once the cooking time is complete, let the pressure release naturally for 10 minutes.
- After 10 minutes, manually release any remaining pressure.
- Open the lid and fluff the rice with a fork.
Notes
- For best results, use long-grain white rice.
- Do not stir the rice while it's cooking.
- To prevent sticking, lightly spray the inner pot with cooking oil before adding the rice.
- Storing: Store leftover rice in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 4 days.
- For a creamier rice, add 1/2 teaspoon of butter or oil after cooking.
