Ingredients
- 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup Buttermilk
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
- 1/8 teaspoon Salt
- 1/8 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 tablespoons Fresh Chives, chopped
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, buttermilk, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until well combined.
- Stir in the chopped fresh chives.
- Taste and adjust seasonings as needed. Add more buttermilk for a thinner dressing, or more mayonnaise for a thicker dressing.
- Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
Notes
- For a smoother dressing, you can strain the mixture through a fine-mesh sieve after whisking.
- To make it tangier, add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice or apple cider vinegar.
- Store leftover ranch dressing in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- A small immersion blender can be used for an extra smooth texture.
