Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, skin on or off
- 1/4 cup Honey
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a bowl, whisk together the honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and red pepper flakes (if using).
- Season the salmon fillet with salt and pepper.
- Place the salmon fillet in a baking dish.
- Pour the honey garlic mixture over the salmon, ensuring it's evenly coated.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use a skin-on salmon fillet and sear it in a hot skillet for 2-3 minutes per side before baking.
- To easily flake the salmon, use a fork and gently break apart the fish.
- Serve with rice and steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
