Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Ground Beef (80/20)
- 1/2 cup Breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup Onion, finely chopped
- 1 Egg, lightly beaten
- 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, and black pepper.
- Gently mix with your hands until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Form the mixture into 4 equal-sized patties, about 1/2 inch thick.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook patties for 4-5 minutes per side for medium, or until cooked through to your desired doneness.
- Serve on hamburger buns with your favorite toppings.
Notes
- For extra flavor, add 1/2 tsp of smoked paprika to the meat mixture.
- To prevent sticking, lightly grease the skillet with cooking spray.
- To keep patties juicy, don't press down on them while cooking.
- Store leftover patties in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- To freeze hamburger patties, form them and place them on a baking sheet, freezing until solid. Then, transfer to a freezer bag.
