Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, skin on or off
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
- 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary, chopped
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Thyme, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, rosemary, thyme, garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Pat salmon fillet dry with paper towels.
- Brush the herb mixture generously over the entire salmon fillet.
- Place salmon on the preheated grill, skin side down if using skin-on fillet.
- Grill for 4-6 minutes per side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C) and the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
- Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use a cedar plank to grill the salmon – it imparts a smoky flavor.
- If using a gas grill, maintain a consistent temperature for even cooking.
- To prevent sticking, lightly oil the grill grates before placing the salmon on the grill.
- Store leftover grilled salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- For a crispier skin, you can broil the salmon for 1-2 minutes after grilling.
