Instructions

  1. Cook pasta according to package directions. Reserve 1/2 cup of pasta water before draining.

  4. Add onion and garlic to the skillet and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
  5. Pour in white wine and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan.

  7. Reduce heat to low. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
  8. Add drained pasta to the skillet and toss to coat. Add reserved pasta water if needed to reach desired consistency.
