Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a small bowl, whisk together honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Pat chicken thighs dry with paper towels. This helps the skin crisp up.
- Heat olive oil in a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear chicken thighs, skin-side down, for 5-7 minutes until skin is golden brown and crispy. Flip chicken and sear for 2 minutes.
- Pour honey garlic sauce over chicken, ensuring all pieces are coated.
- Transfer skillet to the preheated oven and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For extra crispy skin, don't overcrowd the pan.
- A meat thermometer is highly recommended to ensure chicken is cooked to a safe internal temperature.
- These chicken thighs are delicious served with rice and roasted vegetables.
