Ingredients
- 1 packet Ramen noodles (chicken flavor)
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1/2 cup Water
- 1 cup Cooked Chicken, diced
- 1/4 cup Green onions, chopped
- 1/2 Egg
- 1 teaspoon Soy sauce
- 1/2 teaspoon Sesame oil
- 1/4 teaspoon Ground black pepper
Instructions
- Bring chicken broth and water to a boil in a small saucepan.
- Add ramen noodles and cook for 3-4 minutes, or until tender.
- While noodles are cooking, gently poach the egg in a separate small saucepan with a little water. Cook for 3-4 minutes for a runny yolk.
- Add diced chicken, soy sauce, and sesame oil to the ramen.
- Divide ramen into a bowl.
- Top with poached egg and green onions. Season with pepper to taste.
Notes
- For a richer flavor, add a tablespoon of butter or sesame oil while cooking.
- To poach the egg perfectly, crack the egg into simmering water gently with a spoon.
- Ramen noodles can be overcooked quickly, so check frequently.
- Store leftover ramen in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
