Ingredients
- 2 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 oz Romaine lettuce, washed and chopped
- 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 1/4 cup Caesar dressing (store-bought or homemade)
- 1/2 cup Croutons
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
- Add chicken to the skillet and season with garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Cook chicken until fully cooked through, about 6-8 minutes.
- In a large bowl, combine Romaine lettuce and cooked chicken.
- Add Parmesan cheese and Caesar dressing.
- Toss gently to combine.
- Top with croutons before serving.
Notes
- For a crispier salad, add the croutons just before serving.
- If using homemade Caesar dressing, make sure it's well emulsified for a smoother texture.
- To store leftover salad, place in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Add the dressing just before serving to prevent the lettuce from wilting.
- Consider adding grilled chicken for extra flavor.
