Ingredients
- 3 slices of bread
- 4 slices of bacon
- 2 leaves of lettuce (Romaine or Iceberg)
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tomato, sliced
Instructions
- Cook bacon until crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- Spread mayonnaise on two slices of bread.
- Place lettuce leaves on one slice of bread.
- Layer tomato slices on top of the lettuce.
- Top with cooked bacon.
- Place the other slice of bread on top and press gently.
Notes
- For extra flavor, toast the bread lightly before assembling.
- Use a serrated knife to cut the sandwich for clean slices.
- To prevent a soggy sandwich, pat the tomato slices dry with a paper towel before assembling.
- Store leftover bacon in the refrigerator, wrapped tightly in foil.
