Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Beef Sirloin, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup Olive Oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp Paprika
- 1 tsp Cumin
- 1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper (optional)
- 1/2 tsp Salt
- 1/4 tsp Black Pepper
- 1 Red Onion, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 Green Bell Pepper, cut into 1-inch chunks
- 1 Zucchini, cut into 1-inch chunks
- Wooden or Metal Skewers (soaked in water for 30 minutes if using wooden)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the beef cubes, olive oil, minced garlic, paprika, cumin, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper.
- Mix well to ensure the beef is evenly coated.
- Let the mixture marinate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator.
- Thread the marinated beef, red onion chunks, and bell pepper chunks onto the skewers.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
- Grill the kebabs for 8-12 minutes, turning frequently, until the beef is cooked to your desired level of doneness. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper internal temperature (160°F for medium-rare).
- Add the zucchini to the grill during the last 3-5 minutes of cooking to prevent it from burning.
Notes
- For best results, use a meat thermometer to ensure the beef is cooked to your desired doneness.
- If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for at least 30 minutes prior to assembling the kebabs to prevent them from burning on the grill.
- Serve the kebabs with rice, pita bread, or a fresh salad.
- Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
