Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Salmon Fillet, skin on or off
- 2 Lemons, one sliced, one juiced
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1 tbsp Fresh Rosemary, chopped
- 1 tbsp Fresh Thyme, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt and Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place salmon fillet on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, rosemary, thyme, salt, and pepper.
- Pour the mixture over the salmon fillet, ensuring it’s evenly coated.
- Arrange lemon slices on top of the salmon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C). Cooking time will vary based on fillet thickness.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use a skin-on salmon fillet and bake it skin-side down for crispier skin.
- A small pat of butter (1-2 tablespoons) added during the last 5 minutes of baking will enhance the flavor and moisture.
- Serve with roasted vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
- Store leftover baked salmon in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
