Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs Fresh Tilapia Fillets (about 4 fillets)
- 2 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 Lemons, one sliced, one juiced
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp Fresh Dill, chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- 1/2 tsp Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- Drizzle olive oil into the baking dish.
- Place tilapia fillets in the dish.
- Squeeze juice of one lemon over the tilapia.
- Top with lemon slices.
- In a small bowl, combine minced garlic, parsley, dill, salt, and pepper.
- Sprinkle the herb mixture evenly over the tilapia fillets.
- Bake for 18-22 minutes, or until the fish is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
- Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
- For best results, use fresh tilapia fillets.
- To easily remove the tilapia from the baking dish, run a thin spatula around the edges before inverting onto a serving platter.
- Storing: Leftover baked tilapia can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
- Baking Tip: Covering the baking dish loosely with foil during the first 10 minutes of baking can help retain moisture.
